Opening Night at The Pursuit Series, Bear Valley

Would-be adventurers from far and wide gather for a weekend of adventure in the High Sierra

The early morning smoke dissipated while blue skies and western blue jays greeted would-be adventurers and explorers from as many as 29 states and as far away as New York and Hawaii. Moosejaw Camp Hosts shuttled people through the sugar pines to their campsites in the gorgeous Sierra Nevada. Spirits were high; laughs were many.

Marmot tents by the dozen became the “Alpine Pumpkin Patch” as Under Canvas erected teepees and safari tents lit by a waning moon and hundreds of LUCI lights. As the sun set in dramatic fashion, attendees gathered around fires with chocolate and wine and beer (thanks Sufferfest and Kenwood!), *hopefully* off to bed at a decent hour.

Adventure awaits. Everyone outside. Cannot wait for tomorrow!
