Walk up Jerimoth Hill

Jerimoth Hill

Jerimoth Hill in Rhode Island is one of the easiest state high points you will accomplish!

Most likely you are not doing this one unless you are hoping to accomplish the US high points. Jerimoth Hill is Rhode Islands highest point at 812 feet.

Park along Rt 101. The trail begins on the south side of the road. You will see a sign on the road this IS NOT the high point. Follw the very well marked trail to the summit and all three survey markers.

The summit features some rock cairns atop of a large rock and a registry box.

Response

Elle Shannon, I saw nothing like that. You should see a sign along the roadside. Then follow the trail a short ways in and you will reach the rock with cairns and pennants hanging from tree.

What Did I Drive Here For?

Please correct me if I’m wrong but I walked up a path to find nothing but an abandoned house, following a rusty chair and a shed. I was terrified.
