Perfect family hike with astounding views of the highlands along the Hudson River.

The parking area allows about 8 cars.  From the parking area you will walk down Warren Landing Road approximately 0.5 mile to the Visitors Center.

You will see a kiosk to your right.  Here you will follow the blue blazed trail into the woods.  Shortly you will see the river as you start  to ascend a rocky area to a hillcrest.  This area features a bench to take in some views of the Hudson River & Highlands.  Continuing shortly you will descend to the start of the 700 foot boardwalk.  Once you enjoyed the area retrace your steps.

You can visit the Marsh and walk the trails anytime between 9 am and 6pm. The Visitor's Center is open Tuesday through Sunday from 9 am to 5 pm, with limited hours during the winter.

Pets are not allowed.

Also from the same parking area I suggest you take the short walk to Indian Falls:

Awesome spot

Beautiful walk on the river

It's a bummer they don't allow dogs, but other than that its a simple walk along the river that has real nice views. Especially nice in the fall. The dirt road that leads there is very narrow and lined with homes, so be respectful and careful on the way in. Parking is super limited so plan accordingly in summer and take the short walk up the road to Indian Brook.
