This beautiful area is a quiet secluded spot on Mount Desert Island in Acadia National Park. 

This picnic area is located on the Western side of the island.  There are pull off areas to park and a small lot along the Pretty Marsh Road.

There are a few picnic areas throughout the parking area.  You can also walk along a truck trail toward the waters edge to a pavilion and several secluded picnic spots. 

There is also a stairway down to the water.  You will see Bartlett Island & Western Bay.

There are park provided grills at each spot.  Please as always remember to leave no trace!
