Bring your boards and skis and shred some powder.

The former Hidden Valley Ski Area is open to sledders, skiers, snow boarders, and snowshoers. There is no longer a lift so you must walk yourself up the hill. A restroom is at the bottom of the hill by the parking lot. On most weekends when there's an attendant, a warming room is also available. The park does not rent equipment but there are several outdoors shops in Estes Park that rent equipment. Be sure to layer up with insulating, waterproof clothing, wear sunglasses, use sunscreen and carry water. Winter winds can scour the area, causing conditions to vary, so call the park Information Office for the latest information, 970-586-1206. Also make sure that you have a 4-wheel drive vehicle if the road are icy.
