10 Photos That Will Inspire You to Explore Marin County, CA
Marin never ceases to amaze me.
After a trail run on the Dipsea Trail in Marin County this past weekend, I was once again blown away at what an amazing gem this region of California is. The rolling green hills and lush redwood forests are especially mesmerizing in the springtime. A short 25-minute drive across the Golden Gate Bridge, Marin is closer than you think. Plus, it's so easy to quickly go from beautiful trails to delicious food and fun communities. One of my favorite ways to fuel up is grabbing a big salad or burrito from Good Earth Natural Foods and eating on the sunny patio.
Right now is such a beautiful time to explore Marin, so here are some photos of Marin that folks have shared on The Outbound to inspire you to get off the couch and into all the adventure the Marin County has to offer! You might want to make a weekend out of it and spend the night in West Marin's charming Strauss Home Ranch. And if you need to gear up before hitting the trail, check out the Sports Basement in Novato for the best gear, local experts, and fair prices.
