Mundaka is a left hand point break in the Basque country of Spain.  It is a very popular winter time surf spot, where waves can exceed 10+ feet.  This is definitely not a beginner wave, as waves can get very hollow and heavy on winter swells.  However, if you play it right, you can score one of the longest barrels of your life!  It's arguably one of the best waves in Europe.

Lafitenia is a right hand point break that is located in the Basque country of Southern France.  This wave breaks most frequently during the winter time.  Waves can get decently big so always make sure to check the forecast!   Parking can be found in the lot on top of the hill.

Does this place look familiar?  That's because San Juan de Gaztelugatxe is the location where HBO's Game of Thrones filmed the fictional location of Dragonstone.  This relatively short hike is absolutely beautiful.  It is in the Basque country of Spain.  This memorable and iconic location will have you looking up to the sky wondering where the dragons are!

There is a beautiful walk out to the rock formation and the Virgin Mary statue. When you walk out to the rock formation, you get a great view of the downtown area of Biarritz and the more rural southern end of the town. If you go in the winter time, you can see large waves crash against the rock.  WARNING: Time the walk out accordingly or you will get splashed when the waves are big.
