A beautiful and diverse stroll along the Arga through the verdant walled city
The Riverside Walk carves through several different areas of the large city of Pamplona. It starts at the lush gardens and fields of La Magdalena and continues on for nearly seven miles paralleling the Arga River.
The path connects several parks and offers wide river bends for fishing, as well as access points to kayak or canoe the urban oasis.
The pathway also boasts lovely vantage points of the medieval bridges, city walls and historical architecture. Even the breathtaking Cathedral is not far from view when you pass through the New Gateway. The real treat includes unique boardwalks that traverse the river landscape.
There is one point toward the western edge that does require to cross the roadway and then follow the red brick path back down to the swifter flowage and quieter side of life.
