A challenging yet beautiful hike to Upper Yosemite Falls and Yosemite Point.
Starting at the Yosemite Falls Trailhead in Yosemite Valley, the trek up to the Upper Yosemite Falls overlook has a steep 3,175 ft elevation gain across switchbacks, rocks, and gravelly trails. Hiking poles recommended, but not necessary. The trail to Yosemite Point beyond Upper Yosemite Falls is much milder and offers a great view of Half Dome at the end.
Remember to bring plenty of water and snacks as the elevation gain is substantial.

The worst part about this hike is going up to upper yosemite falls. The switchbacks are steep and have loose rock. But the view is worth it from the top
