Take a refreshing dip in the Injidup Natural Spa.

Just a few minutes drive from the bustling little town of Yallingup, towards Margaret River along Caves Road, you'll find a road heading west (Wyadup Road). Following it right to the end there's a carpark with amazing views of the Indian Ocean. You'll probably bump into a few surfers trying to catch the waves down at the beach, but a little hike from the carpark to the right you'll find a large rock pool, but it's no ordinary rockpool. It's almost like a natural spa where the surrounding rocks shelter this little inlet from the crazy waves. The best part, is on a good day, when the surf is blasting through a little wedge you can sit just below and enjoy a natural massage. Who needs a physio when you can get a massage from mother nature?!

Did I mention that these surrounding rocks were like a bouldering nut's paradise? If you love climbing rocks then this place is for you too.

If you're daring enough too, you can try a little shallow cliff jumping just outside the little spa. But do so with caution as sometimes the outgoing current can be strong and there has been some unfortunate accidents.

  • Bouldering Crash Pad (if you're thinking of doing some climbing)

Hike the Yangie Bay Trail in Coffin Bay National Park

Australia / Yangie Bay Carpark

This hike is short, but there are tons of opportunities to take in beautiful views of the bay and we saw tons of kangaroos! It was close to dusk, so this is a time when they're typically quite active.

Explore Lake Clifton and the Thrombolites

Australia / Lake Clifton Thrombolites Car Park

This is one of the lesser known areas that has the conditions to allow thrombolites to thrive - a biofilm on the rocks that shows you what life looked like at the dawn of time billions of years ago.

Relax at Redgate Beach

Australia / Redgate Beach Carpark

The best times to go are either during a big swell so you can admire the waves crashing against the rocks, a bright sunny day so you can admire the red rocks and beautiful turquoise water, or at suns.
