Fish Creek, Wisconsin

Watch the Sunset at Fish Creek's Sunset Beach Park

Originally added by Matthew Sampson

Fantastic spot to relax and catch a sunset near downtown Fish Creek in Door County, WI.

From downtown Fish Creek in Door County, WI, head west on Main St. until the road dead ends at the water. Park your car on either side of the street and take a seat at a bench, explore the shoreline, or relax on the stone fence lining the shore. There's no better spot to catch the sunset in Fish Creek. This spot can get crowded in the summer, so head here during a weeknight or during the shoulder seasons to avoid the crowds.

Afterwards, head back down the street to attend a classic fish boil at Pelletier's, grab a pint at BaySide, or grab an ice cream cone at Dippy's.

Great spot for the sunset!

You don't need to go into the park to see a great sunset, this is one of the few great spots facing west in the area!

Beautiful.

No physical effort needed. Weekdays are great because the crowd are nonexistent, especially in the shoulder season. Really beautiful.

We want to acknowledge and thank the past, present, and future generations of all Native Nations and Indigenous Peoples whose ancestral lands we travel, explore, and play on.
