One of the largest falls on the Michigan/Wisconsin border, Saxon Falls is deeply impressive during high flowage times.

An unusual hike to see the falls, Saxon Falls sits next to a flowage station. To start the hike, park next to the Saxon Falls flowage station. You can see the flowage management system, and start walking down the piping there. Follow the pipes across the river towards an intersection. At the intersection, continue left along the river. Roughly five minutes later, you can begin to the see the top of the falls. For better viewing, continue down the path. The falls sports one of the deepest gorges in the region. Saxon Falls is surrounded by many waterfalls in the region, so make sure to plan another stop while visiting
