Enjoy a Sunset over this hidden gem in Virginia Beach. Then chow down on one of the best burgers in town!

Once in the park, you want to make your way to the most northern section of the park for the best sunset shots. Park in front of (south) of the softball field and follow the paved bike path right in front of you. The path heads north toward the water. Walk the 200 yard long path to the pier for excellent bass fishing and a place to chill while you watch an amazing sunset. Get there early with an ice chest and your fishing rod to enjoy the sunset while you fish.

At the park you can also bike, run, or play frisbee golf. From the pier and the bank just to the left the Sunset allows for some really cool shots silhouetting the swampy cypress trees. The park also offers a a boat ramp to further enjoy the Back Bay area. Once the sun goes down, drive to the local, hole in the wall, Monks Place for a cold beer and some of the best burgers in town!
