Fortune's Cove Via Yellow Trail

Hike was nice but theres not much of an overlook. During the summer, the yellow trail becomes fairly overgrown when it separates from the white trail. There were many downed trees and vegetation was thick. The overlook is an area that has been cleared for power lines so it’s a pretty narrow view of the mountains. I would recommend sticking to the white trail as it seems to be more maintained and there isn’t much of an advantage to taking the yellow. If you decide to take the yellow, bring trekking poles. Your knees will thank you for it.
