This is such a great route for running in Norfolk. You get spectacular views over the Lafayette and in downtown Norfolk. Minimal street crossings.

The Elizabeth River trail runs alongside the Elizabeth River through the city of Norfolk. At times scenic, this trail is a nice path for walking, biking, or jogging through the city. There is plenty of visual interest and opportunities for rest and viewpoints. This is a great trail to enjoy at sunset.
