Relaxing beach on the Chesapeake Bay.

I discovered Mathews, VA while watching Beachfront Bargain Hunt on HGTV! It’s a quiet county close to the coast. There is another beach in Mathews county, but this one is my favorite! It is a beautiful beach and it’s always been quiet the times I have been.

Came here on a early Saturday morning in July, had the whole beach to ourselves. Very Long Beach, was able to walk my dogs pretty far along the coastline.

Surprised to find this place relatively quiet on a Friday afternoon. Its a pretty beach, I'll be bringing my camera next time to capture some of the birds around sunrise.
