Reviews
This is an easy trail to a lovely waterfall - not more than 1/4 mile long. You can certainly make it longer by continuing on the Appalachian Trail all the way to Kent Pond or to Gifford Woods State Park. The trail was busy when we went - Saturday in August.

The walk to Thundering Brook Falls is short and fun. There is a small parking lot right by the trailhead on the road. It was full when we arrived, but we were able to park on the side of the road without issue. The path to the base of the falls is a boardwalk through a meadow-like area. Depending on your speed, it should only take about 5-10 minutes to reach a viewing platform near the base of the falls. To catch a glimpse of the top of the falls, you may hike off the path up an incline over some tree roots and rocks.
