Explore the Sand Dunes in Snow Canyon State Park

To get to Snow Canyon State Park from St George, you take Bluff Street heading north until you reach the Snow Canyon Parkway exit that heads west. Follow this road until you reach Snow Canyon Drive, turn right here. This road will take you into the south entrance of the park. You will come upon a small fee station where you will need to pay a fee of $6.00 to enter the park. Bring cash for this, they don't have a card scanner at the entrances to the park. The dunes are just a few minutes up the road on the left side if you enter from the south entrance to the park. Find parking where you can, but it can get pretty busy during the day making a parking spot hard to find, so I recommend going early before the crowds get there. There are also a lot of other great trails to go hiking on that are really close to the sand dunes such as Jenny's Canyon and West Canyon.

The dunes are perfect to take the whole family to go play and hang out and play in the sun. Make sure to pack lots of water and sunscreen!
