Fish at the East Riverfront Fishing Ponds

These are great little ponds located at 11267 S. River Front Pkwy in South Jordan. It is just off of a section of the Jordan River. Kidney Pond is the one located just by the parking. Midas is just above and you can see it from the parking. You can fish here for rainbow trout, channel catfish, bluegill, and the occasional largemouth bass. You need a current Utah fishing license to fish here. The limit for keeping fish is 2 but the Utah Division of Wildlife resources encourages you to release all bass. There is also a trail right by the ponds where you can run or bike. I suggest using a bobber or weights with Power Bait or a worm. Bring bread if your want to feed the ducks which roam around the ponds. Have fun and good luck fishing!
