Pleasant day of fishing in Dalyan, Turkey on the Dalaman River.
The Dalaman River near Dalyan, Turkey is a perfect spot for fishing. Depending on the time of year there are a number of different varieties to catch. Boats are readily available for hire with all necessary fishing poles and tackle. This particular trip was taken in the summer and the focus was catching smaller fish to fry whole and eat. The captain of the boat also provided us with snorkeling gear to explore the waters around the river and islands close to Turtle Beach. There are also numerous hiking opportunities to explore the ancient tombs that are adjacent to the river.
