5 North Georgia Waterfall Hikes Perfect for Summer
Get outside and be active, but most importantly, relax.
Let’s be honest, summer in Georgia isn’t exactly friendly to a long, exposed day hike. Rather than spending the whole day baking in the sun, head out on one of these easy hikes to a cool, refreshing waterfall. North Georgia is home to some of the most beautiful wilderness in the state and most of these hikes are 2 miles or less. Plus, the forest and waterfalls provide a nice shady place for a summer picnic. It doesn’t get much better than that, does it?
