The world is big and there are lots of amazing places to see! We’ve teamed up with MT Sobek to provide a list of 10 epic adventures around the world. Whether you’re hiking to Everest Base Camp, being blown away by the incredibly gorgeous and moody landscape of England, or losing yourself in bamboo forests in Japan, we know you won’t be disappointed with any of these options.

1. Hike to Everest Base Camp

Everest Base Camp is a place most only dream about. Enjoy 15 days of trekking on rugged mountain terrain to reach an elevation of 17,600'. Though any journey through the Himalayas is one that will stay with you for a lifetime, feeling the power of Everest from close proximity is truly special.

2. England’s Coast to Coast

A unique trek for serious hikers, this 16-day, 192 mile “West-to-East” route begins at the Irish Sea and ends at the North Sea and crosses through three national parks. Enjoy seeing England’s tallest mountains in the Lakes District, walk through rolling hills and river valleys in the Yorkshire Dales, and be humbled by the landscapes of the Yorkshire Moors.

3. Across the Pyrenees

On the north end of Spain, hike from Bilbao to Barcelona over the course of 9 days. The terrain is challenging, but worth it. You'll be exposed to a unique perspective of Spanish culture and architecture as you enjoy the incredible peaks, high meadows and waterfalls along the way. Enjoy exploring Ordesa National Park, called the “Spanish Grand Canyon” for its dramatic cliffs and valleys.

4. Walking Japan

Combine beautiful hiking with timeless tradition. Start in the gorgeous city of Kyoto and travel north to Tokyo, the Nakasendo network of ancient trade routes will expose you to rich Japanese culture as you meander through medieval towns, lush valleys, and moody forests.

5. Trekking the Cordillera Blanca

If you find the Alps and Himalayas beautiful, you’ll fall in love with Peru’s Cordillera Blanca, the world’s highest tropical mountain range. This high-altitude trek is not for the faint of heart, but it is a fantastic triumph for those who undertake it.

6. Chomolhari Trek in Bhutan

Strenuous, remote and memorable, the Chomolhari Trek in Bhutan is a great way to experience the Himalayas from a less-travelled path. You’ll be immersed in the Buddhist culture of Bhutan while trekking through forests, river valleys, farmland, snowy ridges, and mountain passes.

7. Trekking the Cordillera Huayhuash

A challenging trek for the bucket list of hardcore hikers, the Cordillera Huayhuash is a spectacular circuit in the Peruvian Andes. Remote and rugged, this 11-day dramatic trek will eat up your camera’s memory cards quickly.

8. Patagonia: Trekking the Paine Circuit

Chile’s Torres del Paine massif is a dramatic marvel anyone serious about mountain landscapes should see. Explore the Southern Patagonia Ice Field, incredible rock spires and snow-capped landscapes that are so beautiful that it's hard to believe they'r real.

9. Trekking in the Bernese Oberland

Start in the Rhone Valley and trek through some of Switzerland's most breathtaking views. Home to stunning peaks like the Eiger, this week-long trek will have you meandering through high meadows, sweeping landscapes, tiny villages and massive cliffs.

10. Tour du Mont Blanc

A classic, must-do for all hikers, the 10-day circuit around the Mont Blanc massif is one for the books. With dazzling vistas every step of the way, immerse yourself in the beauty of Europe’s highest and most iconic peak in the heart of the Alps.
