Lake Whitney is located about 35 miles north of Waco, Texas and is home to the "best cliff jump in central Texas." With two popular cliffs, Walling Bend and Soldier's Bluff, this area attracts thrill-seekers and adventurers.

Lake Whitney is about 35 miles north of Waco, Texas. From Gholson Road, go left on Ranch Road 2114; then a left on Hwy 22, exit on FM 56 North, then exit on FM 2841. Google Maps will take you to the correct location if you head to Walling Bend Park.

There will be a parking lot on the left, and right around the corner on the right is the cliff expanse. Depending on the depth of the water, the leap varies from 10-30 feet. Once you've taken the leap, you can either swim to the left and walk back up to the top - or there is a rope ladder to the right for a more direct route.

The atmosphere is light-hearted and playful - perfect for an afternoon adventure!

Please remember to check the water levels before you jump and do not go outside of your comfort zone.
