Climb at Pace Bend Park
Details

Imagine waking up in the morning and looking out of your tent at the beautiful Lake Travis in Texas Hill Country from on top of a limestone cliff! Sounds pretty amazing, but there is more - your campsite sits only feet from rock climbing anchors!
The "must have" campsite is along Marshall Cove in Pace Bend Park. From the park's entrance head straight along the road and take the 3rd left onto the Marshall Cove turnout. The sites are not numbered, but locating the site is pretty easy--it's on the left-hand side of the the road along the edge of the cliff. The campsite is primitive with a picnic table and fire ring.
Exploring your campsite and looking off of the limestone cliff, you will easily locate bolts which can be used to rappel down to the water's edge. There is an unmarked and, to my knowledge, unnamed sport route that is probably in the 5.8 to 5.9 range that will lead you back up to the anchors and your campsite!
Pace Bend also offers Deep Water Solo opportunities, this varies based on water levels but can be done throughout the park.
The popular Milton Reimer's Ranch is only 39 minutes/29 miles away. Austin's Greenbelt is 49 minutes/32 miles away. And McKinney Falls (bouldering) is also not too far! Plus, a quick road trip down the road to the famous swimming hole Hamilton Pool is well worth the trip!
