Huntsville State Park's 250 acre Raven Lake is a perfect spot for catching a sunrise. Watch for Egrets along the shoreline while enjoying the solitude of the early morning hour. Hang out on the fishing pier and take in the views while watching the sun crest over the surrounding woods. Be sure to grab your camera and tripod for some great shots!
Beginning at the entrance to Huntsville State Park, head towards Raven Lake and the Coloneh camping area in the campground. There is a fishing pier right on the shore of the lake that has great vantage points for the sunrise and the lake. Parking is available in front of the pier.
