Western Oaks Trail is a small neighborhood trail, great for running and biking.
The Western Oaks Trail is a 1.7 mile trail located in the Legend Oaks neighborhood in Southwest Austin, Texas. The trail is looping however there are several interconnecting trails which can shorten or lengthen the duration of the hike. The trail is mostly flat and made of crushed gravel. It is primarily used by families and runners. Along the trail are several additional work out stations. There are also trash cans located along the trail and poop bags for dogs.
Parking is convenient and abundant. You can park at Dick Nichols Park, where bathrooms can also be found, or alongside the street. The trail is easily accessible and an easy hike for those with limited mobility. Dogs are welcome, but leashes are required!
