River setting makes for a peaceful forest hike, with the added bonus of visiting an old sawmill. 

Park in the circle in the Boykins Springs Recreation Area (see map) to access the trail. This is a dog-friendly trail that doesn't get crowded.

Easy Hike

It was a pretty easy hike. Still need to bring some water for the way. Definitely something you could do with the family
