Coloneh Trail is a relatively short out-and-back trail in Huntsville State Park located near Huntsville, TX. The trail runs adjacent to Raven Lake with nearby campgrounds on several inlets of the lake. Along the trail, there is a fair amount of shade, but keep an eye out for roots and watch your step along the route.

The three campgrounds in the immediate area are as follows: Prairie Branch, Raven Hill, and Coloneh Camping Area. For more information on the campgrounds, head to TexasStateParks.ReserveAmerica.com.

This is a pretty little hike through the woods. The bird blind is nice and gives you a chance to sit and relax for a bit. Easy enough for the whole family.

Just north of Huntsville and Houston, Texas, the Blue Lagoon is the perfect place to cool off and watch the sunlight reflect off the water. There is also a great opportunity to walk through the wooded area behind the lake and take some pictures of the trees and the water.
