Scenic Lake hike in Tyler State Park.

Tyler State Park Lake Loop Trail is a scenic ~2 mile loop hike that takes you by the state parked named Tyler Lake. This is a well-maintained trail that is good for the whole family. There are great stopping points for views of the lake, piney woods for coverage, and not too much effort with minimal elevation gain.

Because of its accessibility and ease of use, it can get crowded during prime times on the weekends.

Dog friendly on-leash.

Nice, easy hike around the lake. There are many beautiful views and fishing spots along the route. About half the trail is shaded, so nice for a sunny day!
