Description

Added by Adrienne Fleck

This is a beautiful loop trail around the lake with varying landscapes of the Texas Hill Country.

The most popular place to begin the trail is at Cedar Breaks Park. Discover natural springs, cacti peppering the edges of the blue-green lake, fields of limestone and historic ruins. Longhorns and other cattle can be seen along the trail across the fence into private property.

Several markers long the route describe the history of early settlers in the area. Camp at Walnut Springs, Sawyer or Cedar Hollow.
