Description

Added by Jared Beeler

A great place to run, bike, or walk your dog.

This greeway is located in north Knoxville near the Sterchi Hills neighborhood. The greenway is 2.1 miles one way so it can make for a good run through the woods. All of the greenway is paved and most of it is under tree cover so it is shaded most of the time. This is a great trail to see birds and other wildlife on. The trail does make several road crossings so be careful and always look for cars. The path is great for kids because there is a playground at the start of the Greenway. The playground is apart of the Sterchi Hills park. There is another park at the other end of the Greenway which has parking access to the greenway most of the year. The second park is Tommy Schumpert park. At Tommy Schumpert park there are large open fields used for soccer and there are other hiking and biking trails there too.
