Timberland Park Nature Trail Reviews
There are several trail options, the creekbed was dry so no trickling falls for us this trip but it was a nice just under 2 mile hike. We chose the Nancy Conway trail and there is a pond about halfway with a little bridge over the creek. Bring your bug spray and be sure it’s tick repellent!

Bluff Overlook Trail
From the parking lot, walk up the same road the direction you entered. Just a little up the hill to the left, you will see the trailhead for the Bluff Overlook. It's only about a 0.25 mile hike, but the initial walk up the hill is steep. Once you reach the top, there are several points to sit and look out over the river as it flows through miles of Tennessee farmland and hills.

Follow the directions to the intersection for the Bluff overl...
Backcountry Camp at the Wildcat Shelter
Start this adventure by retrieving your backcountry camping permit from the park office. There is no option to reserve a campsite online, so give the staff a call and they'll have it ready upon your arrival. From the office, turn left as if you're exiting the park. Before exiting, turn right into a small parking lot (this isn't marked on the map). Here, you'll see a sign to the entrance of the ...
