If you like abandoned buildings and amazing views, Spokane does not disappoint!

Spokane will always be one of my favorite locations in the hills. The town was founded in 1890 and features 3 intact structures from that time. The most intact structure is the manager's house which you can find up on a hill behind the other buildings. A few years ago the old school house finally gave in and collapsed but the remains are still around. You also can find remains of other buildings scattered throughout the area.

Take your time enjoying the old structures and taking a trip back in time. Please keep in mind that these buildings are not tended to and can be dangerous to explore inside. Please use caution when exploring this area.

Take either Iron Mountain Road or Playhouse Road to Forest Service Rd 330. Turn north on FS 330, but keep an eye out on your right for a gated Forest Service path/trail almost immediately after the turn. Park at the gate turn-out and take an easy one-mile walk on FS 330. GPS coordinates are N43.840657, W-103.376041
