Added by Pine Watt

Stunning sunsets under the shadow of Devil's Slide Bunker (a WWII bunker), need I say more? Either side of Bunker Point features scenic steep cliffs and sheer drops.

The Devil's Slide Bunker is perched out on a point the defiantly juts out into the ocean. The Bunker is covered in constantly changing graffiti, which provides a stunning contrast to the gorgeous seaside.

Hop on Highway 1 South. Just south of Pacifica there is a tunnel. Once you go through the tunnel, the bunker parking lot is immediately to your right. Keep your eyes peeled as the dense fog can make it hard to spot the bunker. On clear days, it is unmissable. Once you go through the tunnel you know you have arrived. The walk up to the bunker is about 500 ft from the parking lot. There is plenty of room to walk about. NOTE: Be careful around the edges of the cliffs, they are unstable.

Devil's Slide Bunker Reviews

Stopped here last minute. Easy parking/ access to bunker. Fun to explore around for an hour. Small area

On the clear day there is no better place to get a view of the San Francisco and the iconic golden gate. Also very interesting to see and read about the old bunkers!

I rode my bike past this and took it off trail so I could roll up to the bunker. ( the sign posted said no climbing or hiking, but not no biking). Anyways right by there is a spot where cops will chill and scope out speeders. Totally check this out though. just be careful :)
