Rate this Adventure Unnamed Road

The Borrego Palm Canyon Trail is a 2.9 mile hike to a stunning, highly vegetated desert oasis in Anza-Borrego Desert State Park.

Borrego Palm Canyon Trail takes you to the third-largest native palm oasis in California. There is a wonderful waterfall hidden in the vegetation. You can easily extend your route by continuing further up the canyon. This is an amazing location for wildflower viewing in the spring. Watch for bighorn sheep!

While the trail stays open all year, it gets very hot in the summer. The best time to visit is from October - May. Bring plenty of extra water no matter what time of year you visit. The trail welcomes horseback riders, families, and hikers of all skill levels.
