The Balboa Park Trail is a 4.3 mile loop hike through scenic Balboa Park in San Diego, perfect for all skill levels and easily accessible for everyone.
The Balboa Park Trail offers the chance to see wildlife and is open year-round. The trail is shared by runners, families, hikers, and bikers. Dogs are able to use the trail but must be kept on leash. There is a dog park you will pass by.

Balboa Park is central to an endless number of activities! Spend the day exploring the adjacent museums, zoo, and shops and simply branch off to relax in the park when you need a break. Check the local calendar to find events happening while you're there!

This is a lot like Central Park in New York. Except it’s on the beautiful coast of San Diego.

Something for everyone in the family here! So much to see, explore, and do! Could easily spend a half day to a day here. We stayed w/in walking distance from here, so I cannot comment on parking. Clean bathrooms!
