Description

A hidden gem in North Eastern Pennsylvania, this 1.75 mile hike to the falls is very enjoyable and friendly for all ages.

This 1.75 Mile one-way walk is beautiful. Located on the Skytop Lodge property, the trail winds its way through the forest and along side a creek with benches and picnic areas. Park in the falls trail parking lot on the east side of rt. 390. Google maps will take you right there if you search Indian Ladder Falls. (There is another Indian Ladder Falls near Dingmans Ferry, Pa. This one is in Barrett Township). If you want to see the upper falls, there are steep inclines with ropes to help you climb . I would not recommend going to the upper falls without hiking boots. There is not any elevation gain worth noting. The best time to go would be in the fall (mid-October).
