Some of the best views of the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon paired with a simple walk through the woods suitable for anyone.
The parking can be found along Colton Road heading toward Colton Point State Park. There is a large sign opposite the parking and the trail is a wide gravel path through the woods.
It is 0.7 miles walk on the path to the vista suitable for anyone. You then have the option to head back or create a small loop to return to the parking area.
The trail intersects with the West Rim Trail and in the short distance on the rim, gives you some incredible views of Pine Creek and Owassee Rapids below. At the right time of year, you will have a birds eye view of boaters navigating the creek or arrive early to watch the fog roll through the canyon.
