Surf Pacific City
Cloverdale, Oregon
Description
Added by John Entwistle
Small surf, sandy beaches, and great vibes make Pacific City a perfect beginners surf spot!
From Pacific City, drive into the Pelican Brew Pub parking lot and right out on the beach to park (4x4 recommended, but not required). Suit up, and head out into the water. Sandy, cold water will greet you with occasional perfect swells to catch back to shore! Perfect for surfing, boogie boarding, or just playing in the waves!
Make sure you stop at the Pelican for a beer afterwards - You won't regret it!
There is lots of space on the beach to set up camp for the day. Make sure you bring some sort of wind barrier though as it can get VERY windy on the beach. You can run up the sand dune, walk the beach, or just take in the atmosphere of Pacific City!
Be sure to check out nearby Cape Kiwanda as well!

Surf Pacific City Reviews
Fun spot to surf in Oregon. Good for beginners and learning to surf

Very cool place to surf! It's a very open beach break with smaller waves breaking more to the north side of the beach. It's a beach break with both lefts and rights.
