Amazing views. Makes you feel like you're out of the city. Popular park.

Located right underneath the St Johns Bridge, Cathedral Park is hard to miss. It was given its name due to the Gothic looking arches that sit above the park.

This is one of my personal favorite places to photograph especially if you enjoy photographing bridges. This park can be crowded or have events so just be aware of others when you are there.

I’ve done a couple photo shoots down here and it’s always a success. This bridge is beautiful on the surface and beautiful below it. It’s a very photogenic area that reminds me of Central Park.

I love this section if the river below the bridge - the water is calm and the bridge is grandiose overhead

The bridge is magestic and really close to downtown Portland which makes this a no-brainer place to visit and photograph. The only reason I didn’t give this a 5-star is that the park is a little sketchy. Lots of homeless people and druggies which made me feel a little nervous about walking around with expensive camera gear. I’d recommend going with at least one more person. Other than that - loved the location!

This is a one-of-a-kind location for photographers. The architecture and colors of the bridge will look stark and beautiful in photos!
