Tire Mountain Trail is a scenic 7.4-mile out-and-back trail located in the Willamette National Forest near Oakridge, Oregon. Named for its distinctive tire-shaped peak, this lesser-known gem offers hikers a peaceful journey through old-growth forest with spectacular wildflower displays in spring and early summer.

The trail gains approximately 900 feet in elevation as it winds through diverse forest ecosystems, featuring towering Douglas firs, western red cedars, and maple groves. The path begins in dense forest before opening up to meadows that burst with colorful wildflowers including larkspur, paintbrush, lupine, and bear grass during peak blooming season (typically May through July).

A highlight of this hike is reaching the summit meadows of Tire Mountain, which provide sweeping views of the surrounding Cascade Mountains, including Diamond Peak and the Three Sisters on clear days. The trail's moderate grade and well-maintained path make it accessible to hikers of various skill levels.
