Easy to moderate hike that can be combined with other trails.
This is a short but sweet trail close to the Araby and Garstin Trails. Great views of Palm Springs and the San Jacinto Mountains. Parking area is in the wash off of Araby street on the left side. From the wash, walk west about a quarter of a mile and turn left. You will see a sign for Palm Springs Trail. Switchbacks lead up to signs for the Shannon Trail that goes up to the top of the hill. You head back down when you reach the top or enjoy some more hiking on the other area trails.
