Explore Deer Canyon

6.9 Miles Total - 1489 ft gain - Loop Trail

Originally added by The Outbound Collective

The Deer Canyon Loop Trail in Crystal Cove State Park is a 6.9 mile hike that is good for all ages, offering sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean and the PCH.

The Deer Canyon Loop Trail is an easy drive from Orange County and Newport Beach. In the spring, wildflowers are abundant along the trial. This is a favorite spot for trail runners, hikers, and mountain bikers. The trail is kept in great condition year-round and is very wide. There is very little shade along the trail, so bring extra water!

There is a parking fee of $15.
