This gorgeous trail in Sharon Woods Metro Park near Cincinnati boasts multiple waterfalls along its short length.

Sharon Woods Metro Park is located just northeast of Cincinnati in Hamilton County. To visit this park it is $3 for a day permit for residents of Hamilton County or $5 for a day permit for non-residents.

When you enter the park, take the first left on the road before you cross a bridge over the stream. Park in the first parking area on the right. Keep the creek on your right side as you walk away from the park entrance.  You will pass one waterfall on your right side before the arched stone bridge. There is a second waterfall just upstream of the bridge.

After about 0.2 miles you will reach the trailhead for the 0.7 mile Gorge Trail.  This trail has a slight increase in elevation towards the end, but passes two waterfalls along the way before it dead ends at the Sharon Lake Dam.

At the dam, you could continue exploring some of the parks other trails or retrace your steps back to your car.
