Description

Beautiful 404 foot tall waterfall second tallest waterfall east of the Mississippi River.
This waterfall is located inside of the Chimney Rock State Park. There is a fee of 15 dollars to go to the State Park but it is very worth it because of the beautiful scenery and beautiful views. The hike to the waterfall is partially uphill on the way. When you get to the waterfall there are a few good places to take pictures from and a spot right under the falls with mist spraying you. The trail is very wide and well traversed and there are lots of people there year round. The trail is mostly flat with the exception if a few up and down hill places. The trail head can be reached by either using the trolley to take you to the top then walk down the road or you can try to drive to the top if it not crowded.
