This multipurpose park in the middle of the historic Montford neighborhood is great for all sorts of outdoor activities if you just want to get moving!
Close to downtown and in between several bed and breakfasts in Montford, NC, you'll find Montford Park. Though you may not expect it, the park boasts a couple of tennis courts, a basketball court, and some green space for picnicking, relaxing with friends, or getting lost in a good book.
People like to use this park for a multitude of activities. Aside from using the courts, you'll find people doing yoga in the field, walking their dog, sitting and chatting with friends, or warming up for a run. If you plan on checking this park out and going for a run, the neighborhood sidewalks combine both hilly and flat areas. While on your run, you'll get to enjoy looking at the outside of unique neighborhood homes, keeping the scenery interesting!
