Description

Short walk down an established path to Soco Falls. Close to Blue Ridge Parkway on off of Highway 19120 foot double waterfall.
This double waterfall is located a mile and half off of the Blue Ridge Parkway in the Cherokee Indian Reservation. From the parking area, it's a short walk down a well-established trail to the viewing area of the falls.
For an even closer view of the falls, you can follow a roped, steep path down to the base of the falls. This area can be slippery, so proceed with caution. In the winter months, once the leaves have fallen from the tree, you can get an interesting perspective and easy viewing of the falls.

Soco Falls Reviews
This is a great short place to stop off the road. It is a neat place for photography and playing in the river.

easily accessible and and so gorgeous. quite a climb down but there is so much to explore. the falls are right off the road, no hike required, just a few stairs, but it feels like your immersed in nature. there were a few other people when i went down but it was well worth it.

Really short, but steep path down to the falls - they were beautiful & we enjoyed climbing down through the area & exploring around the rocks
