Robert Treman State Park is one of the most spectacular gorges of the Finger Lakes Region. The main feature of the park is the 100+ foot Lucifer Falls which is pre, and proceeded by countless other beautiful cascades.
Starting in the parking area, choose which direction of the loop to take (all of which will take you to Lucifer Falls). You can choose to do a shorter, 1 - mile loop around the falls, or go further to the lower section of the park (approximately 3 miles).
There is also a campground conveniently located near the park entrance if you want to make this an overnighter.

Reviews
Leave a ReviewOur Favorite State Park in the Finger Lakes
We visit the area often and have explored all of the state parks and waterfalls in the area. Robert Treman State Park is our absolute favorite, especially the gorgeous swimming area at the base of the waterfall. I recommend hiking the Gorge Trail and then heading here for a swim before going back to your car.

Classic Upstate NY View
The waterfall at the end of this gorge is awesome, and one of my favorites in the area. Perfect for some long exposure photography, and calm enough to relax in the pool at the bottom
