The Kaaterskill Rail Trail is a family friendly, 2.9 mile out and back hike in Catskill State Park.

The Kaaterskill Rail Trail begins near North and South Lake, heading toward Haines Falls and Twilight Park NY. The trail is set in a gorgeous forest, and is used for hiking, trail running, and birding trips. The trail provides exceptional views of the surrounding mountains, valleys, forests, and towns.
