Take a short simple walk to a beautiful waterfall near the Constitution Marsh and Audubon Center. This waterfall is great spot for the whole family to take in its beauty.
This is about as short a walk and as little effort as you can put in for a beautiful waterfall. You can barely call it a hike, but I'll list it as such since you do walk through the woods for 5 minutes. The trail is extremely well built, and is pretty easily accessible through the winter.
The trail to the falls shares parking with the Constitution Marsh Audubon Center and Sanctuary (41.404196, -73.934065) on Indian Brook Road. The parking lot is marked well. Constitution Marsh is to the right and is a lovely walk, but does not allow dogs. To the left you'll walk along the road, under the overpass, and see the trail sneak off to the right of the road. Cross over the creek, follow the trail left, and you're done!
This is a very popular spot with both locals and out-of-towners so be prepared to share the area, but there's plenty of room for everyone to relax, and enjoy it!
Please be respectful when you visit the falls -- remember to pack out what you packed in and leave it better than you found it. Please adhere to the rules posted on the sign to the falls -- Swimming is not allowed.
